What does COVID-19 and Christmas have in common?

I know that sounds like the start of a rubbish joke, but stick with me.


Last week I wrote an article on how my automated sales process is ideal for allowing sales teams to continue to work during these unprecedented times and back in December I wrote a report on the importance of prospecting over the festive period as decision-makers are more accessible at that time and with open diaries for meetings in the New Year. In essence, the same sentiment is also true now!


When we come out of the other side of this global disaster, the landscape of business will not be the same. Some companies immediately folded, others have cut staff due to a downturn in work, and a few have used it as an excuse to trim headcount. Many brands that were around at the start of this month will not be open for business at the end of this crisis, and those that are will undoubtedly look very different.


Businesses all over the UK are already diversifying – locally I have seen Pubs become pop up fruit & veg shops and Restaurants offering a delivery service; the B2B sector needs to address there processes too.
